Science

Weather the class just finished our unit about weather and how it affects our lives. We have been learning about storms, hurricanes, and tornadoes. The student's made their own water cycle using a large baggie. This was an exciting experiment that illustrates all the stages in the water cycle.

Solar System we are starting our unit on the solar system. The students will explain the day/night cycle of the earth. We will learn what causes the different phases of the moon, the moon's phases, and compare and contrast the physical attributes of star patterns, and planets.

Honoring Our Heros

Our entire class will write stories about Honoring Our Heroes. Each student will write about someone that they admire and considere their hero. I am so impressed with each child's cursive and creative writing. Please continue to read and write with your child at home.
