Chris Rumble will be at our school on Tuesday, November 20. He writes books about "The Adventures of Uncle Stinky." I have received great reviews about his shows from other schools and cannot wait to see him here at Addison. A flyer with more information about purchasing his books will come home with your child on Thursday, November 15.
The fall book fair will be held Monday, October 1 through Friday, October 5. Set-up will be on Friday, September 28. I would be very thankful for anyone that would like to help set-up the book fair or volunteer in the mornings during the book fair. During the week of Sunday, February 11 through Saturday, February 17, 2007 we will have a book fair at Barnes and Noble. Take the flier you will get in your Thursday folder on Thursday, February 8, 2007 and the school will get a percentage of the money you spend at the Town Center Barnes and Noble that week. The more you spend the more Barnes and Noble will donate back to our school!
On Thursday, February 15, 2007 we will have a reading night at Barnes and Noble. Join us in the children's section at 7:00 for thirty minutes of fun with Mrs. Hailey.
